



After some masking the primer goes on. I can finally get a proper feel for the texture on the base!
I followed that up with some gap filling on the knight weapons and by adding some ”barbed” wire to the top of the trench. A quick zenithal coat with white ink and we end up with this:

This right here is the exact aesthetic I was going for. The legs look dynamic yet strong enough to support the 10,000 year old war machine.
Unlike the default walking pose, this knight gives off the impression that something explosive is about to happen.
The armour panels are temporarily attached with poster putty for easy painting. 😁
