Knight Castellan WIP 1

I might’ve built a difficult base but damnit I’m going to make this work! The pose is doable, the legs just need a LOT of help getting there.

I’ve had to cut off the locating nubs and glue rods of sprue to the hip just to get some sort of structure. A dash of superglue and some greenstuff filling will give me a solid enough hip… 🤞

Less than beautiful, but it will hold 😏

I’ve snipped and glued, then snipped and glued some more. The pistons are a set length by default. You can change the tilt of the foot by swapping the inside pistons for the outside ones, but there’s not a whole lot of flexibility by design. I had to snip some off to extend others. There was barely enough material for the extensions, with some ball joints ending up a bit loose, but I think it still looks convincing enough. Worth remembering that this area is also going to be quite weathered in the final paintjob, so a patch of roughness won’t stand out as much.

Slap the leg armour on and it all looks way less janky. 😄
