My brain is toast from makerspace engagement, but not toast enough that I can’t upload some stompa pics! 😃

I worked on the deffkannon today. I’m trying to be a bit speedy because I can feel my motivation for this project slowly fade. It’s been a lot to paint but I’m almost at the finish line now! Lots of sponging, drybrushing, and oils on this one, FX paints and edge highlights are doing the heavy lifting here.

I feel like the warning stripes on that cable assist in making the whole thing look less rushed. The inner barrel is basepainted with citadel iron hands steel (or leadbelcher 🤷), followed by an airbrushing of Valljeo violet/blue transparent ink to give that heat discolouration effect.
