Flash git 1/5
This kit is really fun, but I am not psyched about covering up half the detailed model with that big gun. 😐 Then again I suppose that is half the point of the snazzgunz. 😬

This one reminds me of a bulldog. I actually find it a bit cute.

I sculpted a chunk of shoulder out of greenstuff to get the gun up and out of the way so that the kaptin can strike a bossy pose!

I was quite worried that I wouldn’t be able to achieve nice looking values on the coat, but I ended up happy with this result. A large part of it is going to be obscured by a big banner, but I’m glad it can stand on its own even without leaning on that crutch.

I thought orange would be a pretty striking colour for the kaptin, and while I think it looks great on the snazzgun and armour, I’m torn wether I should leave the brim of his cap yellow or roll it into the orange armour. These are flash gitz after all, so I don’t think the colour choice should have to adhere to a homogeneous palette.

I wanted to try out some object source lighting for the plasma parts.
Here’s my first finished git! Actually, it’s the first Warhammer mini I’ve painted to completion!

I repurposed one of my leftover ork arms with snazzgun handle and the chainsaw bayonet piece, and slapped on a square of plasticard, to make this miniature chainsword.
